M72-25 C-Bass Sound Source with pressure compensation controller and bladder, plus amplifier, cabling and user manual. These items will maintain the correct internal- seawater differential pressure inside at any depths within operational limits. This is a low- impedance, low-frequency amplifier matched to drive the source and mounted within a pressure housing.

The National Ocean Sciences Accelerator Mass Spectrometry facility (NOSAMS) at 2串1技巧 Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) will purchase a state-of-the-art Accelerator Mass Spectrometer (AMS) system designed specifically for radiocarbon (14C) measurements at natural abundances in the environment.聽 The new AMS system will have the capability to make high precision 14C measurements on elemental-carbon (graphite) targets, using a cesium sputter ion source (in samples as old as 50,000 years before present), and precision measurements on carbon dioxide gas samples using a hybrid gas ion source.聽 The new AMS system should include interfaces to facilitate rapid real-time carbon dioxide 14C gas measurements, that can be used for organic samples (elemental analyzer), carbonates, and gases.聽 The new AMS system should also allow simultaneous high precision measurements of stable carbon isotopes using a magnetic sector mass spectrometer connected to the hybrid gas ion source.

Request for Proposal (RFP) for Commissioning Services

CSL Consulting, LLC has been retained by the 2串1技巧 Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) as Owner鈥檚 Representatives for

the project. On behalf of WHOI, we cordially invite you to submit proposals to provide Commissioning Services for the NQF

project. WHOI will enter into a contract with the Commissioning Agent for the Project and will have all legal authority

concerning the Project. CSL will be responsible for advising the Owner throughout the design and construction process.

The 2串1技巧 Hole Oceanographic Institution is looking for interested parties for the below specifications:

A small, portable winch system for trace metal water sampling and CTD data on an oceanographic research vessel. Winch not to exceed 5000 lbs in weight with strength member and a footprint of no more than 55" x 75". Capable of a safe working load of 1200 lb with a full drum of no less than 3000 meters of a synthetic strength member containing 3 or 4 conductors and appropriate slip ring. The winch will be secured to the ship deck by clearance holes for 1" dia bolts spaced with centers on a 24" x 24" grid. Full working load must be maintained with bolts on a 48" x 48" center. Winch must be powered by 208 VAC 3 phase.

LIPS Steerable Thrusters

WHOI request bids for overhauling of 2 LIPS Steerable Thrusters of model FS 2500-450.聽 Tech reps to attend North West USA shipyard to oversee removals and reinstallation.聽 Bidder to arrange all transport to and from shipyard including all customs fees if applicable.聽 Bidder to have long term track record in overhauling with expertise of Z-Drive Thrusters 鈥 2 units in total to receive complete overhaul.聽 Bidder to have track record working with US Navy or USCG assets.聽 WHOI will provide all required parts for the overhauls of an approx. $500k value.聽 Performance period to begin after docking on 4 August to be coordinated with shipyard and drives to be fully completed and returned to the yard within 14 weeks.聽 All works to be done in accordance with ABS rules
